Chemical description
Beta-blocker (metoprolol) + platelet inhibitor: (acetylsalicylic acid). Metoprolol is metabolized in the liver by CYP2D6. Metoprolol: Thunell, patient reports (n=18): tolerated. Andersson, patient report (n=26): tolerated. South African list: use. French list: authorized. EPI List: safe (betablockers). Acetylsalicylic acid: Kalman/Bonkovsky: believed to be safe.
