Rationale
Prostaglandin mainly metabolised in the pulmonary capillary bed.
Chemical description
Prostaglandin analogue used in obstetrics for softening and dilating the cervix prior to vacuumaspiration or termination of pregancy during the first triemster. Administered in vagitorium 1 mg. Metabolized by betaoxidation. No data pointing to CYP-interactions.
