Chemical description
Dibenzene sulfonate salt of a bisquarternary polycyclic ammonium compound. Used for muscle relaxation in anaesthesia. Metabolized non-enzymatically by Hofmann elimination and by ester hydrolysis via unspecific plasma esterases. South African list: use with care.
