Inorganic compound. Accumulates in bone tissue. Not metabolised.
Chemical description
Biphosphonate used in Paget's disease. Accumulates in bone tissue where it inhibits bone resorbtion. Bioavailability about 6%. Excreted in unchanged form in urine.
