Several references as well as significant clinical experience indicate non-porphyrinogenicity.
Chemical description
Opioid analgesic often used in acute porphyric crisis. After conjugation with glucuronic acid to morphine-3-glucuronide it is eliminated by the kidneys. MFM James, RJ Hift. Porphyrias.
