Probably non-porphyrinogenic metabolism of the restricted amounts absorbed.
Chemical description
Carbacholine hydrochloride in eye drops 30 mg/mL used in glaucoma to decrease the intraocular pressure (1-2 drops 1-3 times daily). More potent and prolonged effect than given by pilocarpine.
